The System

Designed to take the guesswork out of commercial origination.

There are over 10,000 commercial lenders in the marketplace, but no easy way to determine which of them is best for your borrower. NEXA Lending and the Commercial Lending System make this easy by not only teaching you how to properly structure your files, but who to shop it with to earn that win.

Step 1

Intake

Enter the deal in the NCLS: property, purpose, amount. If you need help, a NEXA coach can work the file up with you to help you understand what you're working with.

Step 2

Lender Match

The {site.nclsLabel} runs against a massive product database to identify the best lenders to approach with your deal.

Step 3

Lender Intelligence

The NCLS tracks critical lender data, ranging from published tear sheets and manuals to deals your fellow NEXANs have closed with that lender. The NCLS gives your relationship with your selected lender a jump start.

Step 4

Integrations

Coordinate multi-lender outreach using your own email account, but manage it through the {site.nclsLabel}, which will serve as your one-stop commercial origination platform.

Step 5

Dedicated Support

Backed by NEXA coaches who are ready to provide dedicated support, whether you simply need a lender recommendation or a partner to copilot your loan and teach you how to commercially originate.

Navigator co-origination

Your borrower, your file, we're just here to help and teach.

Navigator pairs a developing LO with a commercial coach on a live deal. You keep the relationship and learn the file; the coach runs structure and lender communication. Split is agreed in writing at intake. The intent is to get you comfortable with commercial origination so that you can fly solo as soon as possible.

Request a Navigator file
Do I need a commercial license or separate entity?

No. Commercial files run through NEXA as the commercial broker. Originating through outside entities is a compliance issue; the NCLS exists so you never need to.

What deal sizes fit?

As long as there's someone looking to borrow money, there's a lender out there with an appetite for that borrower. Most commercial lenders prefer to start with loan limits around $250k, though specialized programs exist for smaller financing opportunities.

What if I have a commercial opportunity, but I want to pass it off to someone rather than work it myself. Can I still get paid?

Absolutely. NEXA's loan referral policy applies to commercial loans as well as residential loans.

How long does a commercial file take?

45 to 60 days for most acquisitions and refinances; massive financings (10m and up), construction and SBA can run longer.

What does a Navigator Coach actually do on a file?

Structured file intake, review, and viablility testing, loan structuring and lender communication, lender file submission and condition tracking. They will also teach you how to originate your loan every step of the way. You stay the point of contact with the borrower and enjoy a hands-on educational experience.
